Z3 Data was in a pretty great spot when they approached the studio. With some key clients now under their belt, they knew they had a product with a serious market need. For the uninitiated, tracking waste and recycling data can be next-to-impossible. Waste management companies tend to keep that info close to their chests - but that doesn't stop companies from needing that data to inform their sustainability initiatives, or to conform with government regulations. Z3 Data is the bridge that streamlines this process for businesses across nearly every industry.

They were ready for a big push. Soon to launch a new product that still needed naming and brand development of it's own, they were satisfied with their existing logo, but felt it could all be enhanced as they approached a new chapter in their business development.

What they asked for was a total, top-to-bottom marketing overhaul.

What we delivered went far beyond a marketing overhaul. Starting with a comprehensive audit, we looked at competitors in the space: How do they talk waste? How do they talk data? How do they show up in tech? How do they impress? (Or more frequently, how do they disappoint?)

Then we analyzed and refreshed their existing brand identity and architecture. As we experimented with logos, colors, and icons, we were simultaneously developing a sophisticated marketing strategy by defining ideal customer profiles, optimizing their website sales funnel, crafting data-rich content marketing, and making plans for community engagement, webinars, and events. Then we crafted social media and newsletter templates to help them put this plan into action.

When we starting looking at SEO and website optimization, the Z3 Data team realized they needed a new website to match this momentum. With the strategy already in place and the brand already through the development phase, we designed a new website to match.
