Family owned and operated for 25 years, Seafood Station has been a beloved fixture in Loveland, Ohio since it’s opening in 1998, offering high-quality seafood, enthusiastic service, and expert advice. This exceptional seafood experience has spawned a unique devotion to this hidden gem that extends beyond the borders of this town, this city, or even this state, with some seriously dedicated out-of-state customers returning year after year.

But that great customer experience wasn’t really translating outside of their retail environment. It was time for something fresh - they needed a cohesive, modern brand identity that would unify their customer journey, starting inside their store and carrying all the way through their online experience. They needed a strategy that would help them cast a wide net, entice new clients, and be seen in the market. And they needed to make a BIG splash.

Combining the classic style of an east coast seafood market with that authentic affability you can only find in Loveland, Ohio, Mertz Design delivered a custom kit of parts that Seafood Station could pull apart or bring together, no matter their need - complete with a crisp color palette, a new way to tell their story, and a series of brand marks fit for digital, display, or distribution.

Culminating in a complete overhaul of their website, Mertz Design created a functional, fresh experience that’s accessible for current customers and enticing for future ones. An easily-updateable menu made sure the business could quickly tackle website updates and keep customers up-to-date, instead of angling for answers.
